Fill the gourd about two-thirds with yerba, tilt the leaf to one side and moisten the lower part with warm water. Set the bombilla there, then add water at about 167°F (75°C).

Let the drink cool before sipping. Prefer a mug? A roomy infuser or French press gives you another way to brew this loose-leaf blend.

Keep unopened bags sealed in a cool, dry cupboard. Open one at a time, check the dates printed on the bags and use the older bags first. After opening, close the bag securely or use a clean airtight container.
