ARGENTINE YERBA MATE • A TRADITION SINCE 1874

ARGENTINA / SINCE 1874

A FAMILIAR BAG.
A LASTING RITUAL.

Our yerba has been part of Argentine mate culture since 1874. The familiar red-and-white pack starts with leaf from northeastern Argentina and ends wherever you put the kettle on.

THE WORK
BEHIND THE LEAF.

Harvesting, selection and aging are central to how our yerba is made. The leaf comes from plantations in northeastern Argentina, a region at the heart of the country's yerba mate tradition.

Tradicional is made with larger leaves and a low dust content. The cut includes stems, the style often called con palo.

Preparation brings the rest: a sloping bed of yerba, warm water to moisten it and patient refills beside the bombilla.
